modern day snake oil salesmen

Modern day snake oil salesmen use the internet to scam peoples hard earned dollars just like in the past but with new oil.

        In the past snake oil salesmen would travel from town to town selling there little bottles of water ,pop, or far worse to the town people who just wanted to feel better ,live longer or be stronger. So they would have to keep traveling to keep from getting caught and strung up. Today we have EBay and the internet this gives them a chance to sell there new snake oil in the form of ghost boxes, Ovilus, ghost pucks ,haunted dolls and my personal favorite the Paranormal starter kit to millions. EBay is sometimes as bad as the crooks themselves .Ok let me explain you buy something from an eBay seller you send them the money but they never send your idem. Well that’s ok eBay has the "buyer protection program",oh really?. First you have to send 2 or 3 emails to the seller begging for the thing you bought and paid for. Then fill a complaint wait a week at that point all the seller has to do is send you something it dose not have to be what you bought mind you. Then eBay will close the case in favor of the seller. Then you have to open a new case for wrong idem which is even more of a pain in the ass, by then the sell has so much bad feed back he just opens a new account . I say where the protection, no ware. Now getting back to the snake oil salesman they know there ripping off the people that are new to the paranormal field. That’s why the starter kits piss me off the most you get a cheep flashlight that cost maybe 2 bucks, a cheep ass digital camera that’s worth maybe 25 bucks, a cheep ass digital or tape recorder that’s worth maybe 25 bucks and sometimes a book that’s worth 10 to 15 bucks by my math that’s 67 bucks. Oh but wait there more you get a plastic case or bag that’s worth 10 to 18 bucks so that’s 85 dollars worth of junk. So why do they sell it to people for 150 to 200 dollars. If that is not a case for snake oil I don’t know that is. But let’s not forget the Ovilus this was snake oil from the start. It is nothing more than a collection of simple environmental detectors wired to a processer that mathematically produces preset responses.　 In fact, it works very much like a handheld slot machine; if you pull the proverbial handle enough times, eventually you’ll hit the jackpot. But at 200 bucks a pop it got to be on big paranormal TV shows. And dolls that have a demons trapped inside can you give me a brake .Its a doll , and why would you want to buy a demon in the first place did you see the Amityville horror, HELLO .
