2011/10/14 Harpers Ferry Trip Gettysburg part 3
We are taking a trip back to gettysburg this time with the team
the last time we went was in July we had a great time
this time We are planing to drop down to antietam in Md for a day with a side stop at
Harpers ferry for the 151st annv. of john browns raid on the 17th
John Brown (May 9, 1800 – December 2, 1859) was an American abolitionist, who advocated and practiced armed insurrection as a means to end all slavery. He led the Pottawatomie Massacre in 1856 in Bleeding Kansas and made his name in the unsuccessful raid at Harpers Ferry in Oct16th -18th 1859.
we will do it next year to take part of the 152nd annv. of the harpers ferry raid
